Matt is captain of Tortola Sailing & Sights having bought it just before hurricane Irma hit in 2017. A year after the storm wiped out the entire fleet he has rebuilt it bigger and better than before with new boats and 4 full time instructors.
His impressive sailing resume includes captaining charter vessels in the Med, offshore racing and teaching on both sides of Atlantic. With qualifications to teach sailing and power boating in RYA, ASA, IYT & US Sailing there isn't much Matt doesn't know about how to deliver the best courses!
Beneath the waves he's also a PADI Dive Master so if diving is your thing, he is only too happy to advise or show you some of the best spots around.
Paul is an RYA, ASA, & IYT qualified Sailing Instructor. He started teaching twelve years ago in Greece, before spending several years as a freelance instructor in the UK working for Clipper Ventures and the Tall Ships Trust. Paul has a lot of miles under his feet sailing around Europe, the Caribbean, one Pacific crossing, and ten Atlantic crossings - six of those as skipper.
When not teaching, Paul can be found kite surfing and working on his PADI Dive Master certification.

Scott's not only a fully qualified instructor but with a background in engineering, he's also our fleet manager keeping all of the boats sailing sweet!
Tom is from the UK and used to work in forensic laboratories using DNA science to crack complex criminal cases. For years Tom would jump in his car and head to the coast whenever he could to jump in a boat, kite surf or freedive! Not only is Tom a qualified instructor he's also a PADI Dive Master and is currently training towards his kite surfing instructor's certification.
