How do you get to Soper's Hole Marina
When flying into BVI, you have several options. The airport on Beef Island (Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport), is very small. It has several carriers:
- Cape Air San Juan
- InterCaribbean Airways Seasonal: Saint Thomas
- Seaborne Airlines San Juan
- LIAT Antigua, Barbados, Sint Maarten, Saint Kitts
- Sky High Aviation Service Santo Domingo-Las Americas
(We often recommend students to fly to St. Thomas and catch the passenger ferry from there to Tortola West End port)
Routes to look at from Europe include via St. Matins or Antigua
Routes from US include via Miami, Fort Lauerdale in St. Thomas and San Juan into Beef Island, Tortola
If you decide to fly into St. Thomas you can then jump on one of the many ferries to Tortola. There are several operators, so we advise you to check out the latest information on the Best of BVI website.
If you are coming directly to the school you should plan to get off the ferry at West End terminal. We are just opposite the terminal on the other side of Soper's Hole Marina, (10minute walk around or a 2 minute taxi ride).
If you decide to fly into St. Thomas but your flights and the ferry times don't tie up, don't worry, you can have the convenience of a water taxi from St. Thomas to BVI. Check out Dolphin Water Taxi website for more information.
Taxis On Tortola
When you get to the island it will be easy to fins a taxi. Whether you come into the airport, Road Town or West End ferry terminal, there will always be a taxi there. If you need to contact a taxi it's worth visiting Caribya website.
